My goal as an educator is to equip students to critically evaluate the political science literature and to create new knowledge using both qualitative and quantitative research methods. I am continuously developing my teaching philosophy and practice by incorporating evidence-based teaching techniques into my classroom. My most energizing teaching moments are when students gain a deeper understanding of real-world problems they feel passionately about by engaging the course materials and applying new methodological skills. It is important to me that my classroom is an inclusive and welcoming environment for students of different backgrounds, political beliefs, and learning styles.

Evidence of Teaching Effectiveness
